Four steps, and you always know which one you are in.
The order matters more than the speed. Preparation done in the wrong sequence is how a four week approval becomes a twelve week one.
- First call
- 20 minutes
- Early answer
- Within one week
- Outreach
- Only on your approval
The four steps
- 01
You say what you need
Amount, purpose, timing, and whatever is already in place.
A short call or a form. We want the number, what it buys, when you need it, and what facilities are already registered. If the request does not look fundable, you hear that in the first week rather than the sixth.
- The request, written down
- A read on what looks realistic
- The gaps we already know about
- 02
You get the structure, and the numbers behind it
The structure, the likely lender category, and the order to do things in.
We work out which instruments fit the security and the cash flow, model the debt service after the new facility, and set out the sequence. Then we build the lender list with you.
- The recommended structure
- A named lender list
- The numbers behind both
- 03
The file gets written, bad news included
The request, the evidence, and the objection answered before it is asked.
The financing package gets written: a one page request, sources and uses, normalised earnings, the repayment and downside cases, and the security position with existing registrations. The supporting documents follow in the order the argument uses them.
- The financing package
- The document set, indexed
- The hard question, answered
- 04
You approve the list before anything is sent
Only to the lenders you approved, and through to closing.
Nothing is sent until you approve the list in writing. Then we handle the questions, the conditions, the amendments and the closing details, and we keep you told what is happening.
- Lender questions handled
- Terms compared side by side
- Closing coordinated

No lender hears your name until you say so.
A request emailed to twenty lenders leaves twenty records. The next one to see it reads the declines before they read the deal, and a file that looks shopped is priced as one. So the list is built with you, approved by you in writing, and nothing leaves this office before that.
In practice that means you see the list of lenders with names on it, you say yes or strike one off, and you confirm in writing. Only then does anything move. If you would rather your own bank never knows you looked elsewhere, say so at the start and we build the list around that.
It also means we tell you what is already registered against your assets before anyone else finds out. A search takes minutes and it changes what is possible.
What you can expect from us.
- An answer on whether the deal looks fundable within the first week.
- A written structure, a document list, and a named lender list before any outreach.
- Fees agreed in writing before work starts, tied to a completed financing.
- A named person on your file who answers the phone.
What we expect from you.
- The bad news, told to us early. We find it anyway, and later is worse.
- Bookkeeping close enough that the statements and the bank agree.
- A decision on the lender list rather than a maybe. Outreach waits on it.
- Documents inside a week. A file goes stale, and so does the appetite.
Bring the deal before a lender forms an opinion.
Four questions to start, and no email until you have the answer.
