This page states plainly what the numbers on this site are and are not. It is the same wording that appears in the footer of every page, set out with its reasoning.
We are not a lender
Trust Financials Limited is a commercial finance advisory firm. We are not a bank, a lender, or a deposit taking institution, and we do not originate, underwrite or fund credit. Nothing on this site is an offer of credit or a commitment to lend.
What "up to $500,000" means
It is a ceiling for a company that qualifies, not a quote, a pre approval or a guarantee. It is reached through a structure rather than through one product, and the structure depends on what can be pledged. A business at the same revenue with nothing to pledge will see a materially smaller number, and we say so on the page that explains it.
"Spendable funds" means cash that lands in the business bank account and is free to spend at the owner's discretion, net of fees. That is not the same as an approved credit limit and not the same as a facility that pays a vendor directly.
Ranges and timelines
Every figure on this site is a market norm or an illustrative maximum available through lending partners. Amounts, rates, terms, fees and eligibility vary by lender, by product and by applicant, and can change without notice. Every facility is subject to the lender's own underwriting, credit review, documentation and approval.
Worked examples are illustrative. They are not case studies, they are not clients, and they are not a prediction of what your own file will produce.

Programme terms, including those of the Canada Small Business Financing Program, change: confirm current terms with the delivering institution or with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada before relying on any figure.
Real property financing
Arranging financing secured by real property in Ontario requires a licence under the Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administrators Act, 2006. Trust Financials Limited is not a licensed mortgage brokerage. That work is referred to a licensed brokerage, and we identify the brokerage before anything moves.
